PXW
Born Extreme On The Fourth Of July
Philadelphia, PA
July 3, 2005

Fireworks shoot off and manage not to burn down the bingo hall. The ring announcer welcomes us all to PXW's 4th of July celebration.

There's a noticably out of place goth woman sitting in the front row.

Rating: ***

"Atomic American" J.P. Wiekert comes out and gets a mic. He says last week Brian Hansen gave him a concussion with a piledriver and now he wants some revenge! "Hardcore" Brian Hansen answers the challenge.

J.P. Wiekert pinned Brian Hansen with the Atomic Bomb in 0:12:40.
Rating: ** 3/4

Lots of weapons in this one.

A fat black guy in a city bus driver's uniform makes his way out to the ring where the ring announcer introduces him as Mass Transit. This can't end well. "Rising Star" Bret Masters comes out with a mic and calls his opponent a fat worthless piece of trash. He doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as Masters!

No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Brett Masters pinned Mass Transit with the Starmaker in 0:11:25.
Rating: * 1/2

Masters took a beating from Mass Transit, including a 747 Splash through a table. He managed to slip out of a gorilla press and hit the Starmaker to pull out the win.

Erin Draven is out in his usual dark garb. He gets a mic and says people should not celebrate the 4th of July because the holiday represents the death and suffering: of all the nations and races that stood in the way of America's greed and of all the animals that must die so Americans can grill and eat them. Americans celebrate freedom with death and destruction. They don't even have freedom like they believe. Thus life is hollow and empty. Only he can see this, only he can feel the pain. He hears the echos in the emptiness of life, beating like an tell-tale heart. The crowd doesn't seem to know how to react to Draven's speech.

Crimson Ghost comes out to interrupt. He likes pain and making people suffer. And for being a whiny bitch, Draven will now suffer. Crimson Ghost charges the ring and the match is on!

Draven puts up a good fight and even blocks a Final Breath. Draven's Nevermore DDT can't get the three count nor can Crimson's Ghost Cutter. Finally Ghost gets a chair and drills Draven with it then hits a powerbomb on the chair. As Crimson Ghost stands over Draven's prone body taunting him, the goth chick that has been sitting in the front row the entire time climbs over the railing. She climbs a turnbuckle and blasts Crimson Ghost with a flying dropkick to the back of the head. Draven recovers enough to apply a STF. The ref checks Crimson and he's out cold, giving Draven his first win and Crimson his first loss.

Eric Draven defeated Crimson Ghost when Crimson Ghost passed out in a STF in 0:15:38.
Rating: **** 1/2
[Rachel interfered against Crimson Ghost.]

Draven seems a bit confused and doesn't seem to know who the goth chick is. She motions for him to leave with her and they depart through the crowd.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match
Eddie O'Brien defeated Brian Kage via pinfall in 0:05:48.
Rating: ** 3/4

After back to back stellar matches between these two, this match was not so impressive. O'Brien gets the win after a nasty elbow strike.

Tommy Hardcore and I.M. Extreme come out and demand their attackers from last week face them in the ring. Jade leads out Wycked Dreamz to oblige.

Wycked Dreamz (Wycked Dream 1 and Wycked Dream 2) defeated

Extreme gets put through a table then takes the Wycked Dreamz' chokeslam-powerbomb combo finisher.

Taz McKnight defeated Serial Thrilla when Serial Thrilla passed out in the Tazmission in 0:05:32.
Rating: *** 1/2

Serial Thrilla tried to put up a fight, but couldn't accomplish much and gets choked out.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match
Max Melton pinned L.A. Riotz with the Total Meltdown in 0:13:23.
Rating: ** 3/4

Both guys traded finishers and the match ended up outside the ring where Riotz hit a moonsault through a table, but Melton kicked out, countered a powerslam, and hit his finisher again this time for the win.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match
Kurt Nelson pinned Jamal Pierce after a full nelson suplex in 0:18:16.
Rating: *****

A surprise awesome match for the main event. Pierce comes out fighting vicious, including going low and even putting Kurt Nelson in a full nelson. Nelson takes control and keeps locking Pierce in submission holds, but he keeps fighting out and even hits a Drive By. Finally Nelson gives up on the submission plan and just suplexes the hell out of Pierce, hitting FIVE consecutive full nelson suplexes and bridging the last one into a pin.
